Soko Shoten

One of the first things to notice at Soko Shoten is that you can choose celery or cabbage filling for the boiled dumplings. A diner who tried the cabbage dumplings singled out their pleasantly chewy wrappers, while another recommended the celery. Set meals with either filling cost 770 yen, so you can build your lunch around whichever you prefer.

You can also order the dumplings on their own, either as an extra dish or alongside zhajiangmian. The noodle dish is on the menu, and diners have mentioned ordering it with a dumpling set meal.

For something lighter, the range of buns includes pork and sweet-bean options. There are also Mapo harusame buns for 198 yen, curry buns for 220 yen and Awaji beef buns for 275 yen. Eat in or take away; frozen dumplings are available in packs of 6 for 486 yen and 8 for 594 yen.
